The Webometer allows a user to perform a competitive load test by loading multiple sites one after the other in a frame and then plotting the results in a bar graph.

The Ad Injection method speeds up content loading by delaying ad load. The content on AOL.com loads now up to 4x faster due to the ad injection method. This method will soon be implemented on the netscape.com main page as well as other Netscape pages.

The sports ticker launched with the 9.0 sports main page to members on both narrow and broadband connections. It was the first integration of personalizable content to be a permanent fixture on the channel main screens. It allowed members to customize which sports scores they wanted to display each time they launched the page.

Initially a project for AOL Broadband, the Member Movies feature showcased movie clips submitted by AOL members. The project was initially created in Flash, but I transformed it into DHTML to make the load time faster and more accessible. The code I created is also configured to be reusable for future projects that use similar design template and SharkLite publishable.

Created resource efficiencies by writing a Tcl/SMIL based solution for scheduled publishing of NFL Videos. This solution eliminated the need for teams of web publishers to work shifts during weekends to enforce contractually obligated blackout times for NFL Videos.
